Our Protection Team is lead by our company President, Mr. Guy Black. Mr. Black is a retired Maryland State Police First Sergeant and a former member of the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Black has been one of the strongest police officers in the world over the last ten (10) years. He has set multiple State, National and World Records in the Bench Press and in Power Lifting.
Blackout Investigation's Assistant Team Leader is a former member of the Prince George's County Police Department S.W.A.T. Team. He has been one of the strongest police officers in the world over the last ten (10) years, setting multiple State and National records.

3. The state of Maryland does not require any type of regulated or mandated training for Security Guards, what makes Blackout Investigation guards any different?

TRAINING. The difference is simply TRAINING. The State of Maryland does not regulate or mandate training for security guards. Therefore, other companies wll hire anybody right off the street, put them in a uniform and immediately on a post. Blackout guards are selected individuals who meet the strict guidelines necessary to become a member of the Blackout Team. Once selected, all of our guards are certified through the Maryland State Police Licensing Division. Before being assigned to any security post, Blackout guards are put through a rigorous training program taught by experienced police officers. Selected individuals, certified through the state police, with proper training sets us apart from our competition.
